Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect through the Bastion marketing website at bastion.re ("the Site"), how we use it, and your rights. It covers the public website only — not the self-hosted Bastion software that runs inside our clients' own infrastructure, where the client is the data controller.
1. What we collect
- Demo requests. When you submit the contact form, we collect the company / brand name and work email address you provide.
- Direct messages. If you email us at info@bastion.re, we receive whatever you include in that message.
- Server logs. Like any website, our host records standard technical data — IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamp and the pages requested — for security and reliability.
2. What we do not do
- The Site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
3. Third parties
- Hosting. The Site is hosted on Hostinger, which processes the server logs described above on our behalf.
- Fonts. The Site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). This means your IP address is shared with Google in order to serve the font.
4. Why we use your data & legal basis
We use the company name and email you submit solely to respond to your demo request and to contact you about Bastion. Our legal basis is your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We will not add you to unrelated marketing without your agreement.
5. How long we keep it
We retain demo-request details only as long as needed to follow up and for reasonable business records, and we delete them on request.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you can object to or restrict our use of it. To exercise any of these, email info@bastion.re. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it to respond to you.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
